We’re not incorporated, but it seems I can still apply for “business” cards – is this a good idea vs. another personal card? I work at a small city library as the only employee (the director) and I have been given permission to apply for a credit card. I found a small business credit card that was agreed on, but when I went to apply, I was confused about which type of business to classify us as. The options are:
Business Individuals
C-Corporation
Corporate Trust
General Partnership
Individual Trust
Limited Liability
Limited Partnership
Professional Corporation
Proprietorship
S-Corporation
It doesn’t seem to me that we are any of these. Maybe a library doesn’t count as a business? Help please! Which one would you consider a library?

How do I search the internet to find out if I have been approved for a credit card application?

I own 2 different business one doing good one not so good can I apply for a business credit card from the business doing good if the other already has a card and is not doing well? Both are legal business with tax ids different names however my name is on both as owner. Neither is a parent company.

I’m underage (16) and I got to thinking about people my age who have credit cards (and not with their parents account/consent). They’ve lied about their age on the application. Is there any punishment for this? Does anyone find out? Could a minor really get into trouble for this? Can’t you just pay off the card?

I already applied for 2 cards and have been declined. Trying to build my business credit. Since its for my business, I use my EIN and not my SS#. Any advice where else I can turn to for a business credit card? Thanx.
